History of Khatlon State Medical University

  • 1967 Established at the Kulyab State Medical College with a class of just 30 students.
  • 1990 Renamed to Khatlon State Medical Institute and granted the status of a university.
  • 2005 KSMU received full accreditation and became a member of the Association of Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE).
  • 2018 Recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI).
  • Present Day with over 7000 students and 500 faculty members, KSMU is a leading medical institution in Central Asia
